Threads is one of the easiest platforms to create content for. No filming. No editing. No perfect feed. You can have a thought, type it out and post it. That also means you can post a lot more often than you probably would on Instagram.

I’d happily work towards posting up to eight times a day on Threads. But there’s a catch. If you’re posting eight times and then disappearing from the app, you’re missing a huge part of what makes Threads work.

Posting is only half the strategy 💬

Threads is a conversation platform. You want people replying to your posts, but you also need to be out there replying to other people. And I don’t mean dropping “So true!” underneath 20 posts and calling it engagement. 😂

Add your opinion. Share an experience. Continue the conversation. Your replies are content too. Someone can discover you through a reply, like what you have to say, visit your profile and end up following you. So if you’re scheduling time to post, schedule time to engage too.

What do you post eight times a day? 😳

This is where people panic. Eight posts does not mean eight educational essays. Mix it up. Share a niche-specific thought. Ask an easy question. Tell a tiny story. Give an opinion. Share something funny or relatable.

Talk about a problem your audience is experiencing. Share proof. Teach something useful. Occasionally, sell. Threads gives you permission to have a personality. Use it. Especially if you’re faceless, because your words are one of the easiest ways for people to get to know you.

Make it easy to reply 👀

Some posts get likes. Other posts make people immediately want to add their two cents. You want plenty of the second kind. That doesn’t mean ending every Thread with “Thoughts?” Talk about things your audience has experienced.

Ask questions that don’t require a 400-word answer. Share opinions people naturally have something to say about. Then when they reply, reply back. That is how a post starts becoming a conversation instead of another piece of content floating around the internet.

Don’t make every post a sales pitch 💸

Posting more does not mean selling more often. Your content can talk around the problems your products solve long before you actually mention the product. Share the symptom. Tell a story. Talk about a mistake. Challenge an assumption. Show proof. Answer questions.

Then when you do sell, the offer has context. That feels much more natural than dropping the same product link into Threads eight times a day and wondering why everyone suddenly went quiet. 😂

Your profile needs to do some work too 🔗

If someone likes one of your Threads and visits your profile, they should quickly understand what your account is about. Who are you talking to? What kind of content will they get if they follow? What do you help with? Where should they go if they want more?

You don’t need to stuff links into every post when your profile gives interested people an obvious next step.

More posts + more conversations 🧵 ✨

That’s the combination I’d focus on. Work towards posting multiple times throughout the day, even up to eight times a day if that suits your strategy, but don’t obsess over the number. Your engagement matters just as much.

Post. Reply. Join conversations. Show some personality. Pay attention to what people respond to. Do more of what connects. That’s a much stronger Threads strategy than simply trying to hit a daily posting quota.

Want an actual Threads plan instead of guessing?

This is where The Côte Chic Threads Method comes in. 🧵

It goes much further than telling you to “post consistently.” It covers posting and engagement, including replies, personality content, spacing your posts, creating easy-to-answer Threads and building community.

It also gets into the part that matters if you’re building a business: profile funnels, soft selling, DMs, creating regulars and turning attention into potential buyers without making every post a pitch. And if your immediate reaction to eight posts a day was “Lou, what the hell am I supposed to SAY eight times?” 😂 there’s help with that too.

The method includes a complete daily Threads map plus 268 written Threads posts and a four-week implementation plan. So you’re not just being told to post more. You’re being shown what to post, how to engage and how to connect all that activity back to your business. ✨ If Threads is a platform you want to take seriously, The Côte Chic Threads Method is the resource I’d look at next.
