Cookie & Browser Storage Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Lou Goes Digital uses a limited amount of website technology and browser storage to operate the website, provide certain functionality and understand general website usage.
Lou Goes Digital does not currently have third-party advertising or behavioural tracking tools such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking or Google Analytics independently installed on the website.
Website Platform
Lou Goes Digital is hosted using Base44.
Base44 provides the underlying website infrastructure and may use cookies or similar technologies required to operate and secure its services, maintain sessions and provide platform functionality.
Base44's handling of information is also subject to its own privacy practices.
Platform Analytics
The website platform provides built-in website statistics that can be used to understand general traffic and usage.
Lou Goes Digital has not independently installed a separate Google Analytics implementation for this purpose.
Local Browser Storage
The Lou Goes Digital prompt library uses local browser storage to make certain features work.
For example, a visitor's browser may store:
- The number of free prompt copies used
- Whether particular access has been unlocked
This information is stored locally in the visitor's browser/device and is used to operate the prompt-library functionality.
It is not intended to personally identify the visitor.
Local browser storage is technically different from a traditional cookie, but it is disclosed here for transparency.
Login Sessions
Website administration functionality may use session or login information so authorised administrators can remain securely signed in.
These technologies are used for website operation and security.
Affiliate Links
Lou Goes Digital contains links to third-party websites, including affiliate links.
Lou Goes Digital itself does not currently install advertising cookies to follow visitors across unrelated websites.
However, once you click an affiliate link and visit a third-party website, the merchant or affiliate platform may use its own cookies or other technology to identify the referral and determine whether a commission is payable.
Those technologies are controlled by the third party and are subject to its own privacy and cookie policies.
Third-Party Advertising Trackers
At the time this policy was last updated, Lou Goes Digital has not independently installed:
- Meta Pixel
- Google Analytics
- Google Ads tracking
- Other third-party behavioural advertising pixels
If this changes, this policy and the Privacy Policy should be reviewed and updated.
Managing Browser Data
Most browsers allow users to view, delete or block cookies and locally stored website data through browser settings.
Deleting local browser storage may reset certain Lou Goes Digital website features.
For example, the prompt library may no longer remember information previously stored on that device.
Blocking essential website technologies may also affect website functionality.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated if Lou Goes Digital changes its website platform, introduces new functionality or begins using additional analytics, advertising or tracking technology.
The current version will be published on this page.
