So you search for Threads prompts, find a giant list of 100 ideas… and somehow still don’t know what the hell to post.
Here’s the problem:
You don’t just need more prompts. You need to know what the post is supposed to DO.
The Côte Chic Threads Method teaches that different Threads have different jobs — some start conversations, some show personality, some build trust, some get shared and some eventually help you sell.
So instead of giving you another giant content dump, here are 7 prompts with an actual purpose behind them.
1. ☕ The Ridiculously Easy Question
POST:
Be honest: what’s the first app you open in the morning?
Why it works
Nobody needs to write an essay.
They already know their answer.
That matters because the easier you make it to join a conversation, the more inviting that conversation becomes.
Your job: Ask something they can answer almost instantly.
2. 👀 The This-or-That
POST:
You can only keep ONE: Instagram or Threads?
Why it works
You’ve removed the hardest part:
thinking of an answer from scratch.
They just have to choose.
And if they feel strongly about their choice? Even better — now you’ve potentially got an actual conversation.
3. 😂 The Personality Post
POST:
I cannot start work without coffee beside me.
At this point I think it’s technically a colleague.
What’s always beside you while you work?
Why it works
There’s no digital marketing lesson here.
Good.
Your audience needs opportunities to know the person behind the business too.
Personality is a major part of the Côte Chic method: the guide recommends building genuine personality pillars around things you actually care about and weaving those into your Threads content.
Faceless doesn’t have to mean personality-less.
4. 🔥 The Hot Take
POST:
Unpopular opinion:
You don’t need another 100 content ideas.
You need to get better at using the ideas you already have.
Agree or disagree?
Why it works
Now you’re giving people something to react to.
They can agree.
They can disagree.
They can tell you why you’re wrong. 😂
And that’s far more conversational than dropping another generic tip and disappearing.
5. 🧵 The Niche Conversation
POST:
Digital marketers: what are you finding harder right now?
Getting people to SEE your content…
or getting the people who see it to BUY?
Why it works
This one does two jobs beautifully.
It starts a relevant conversation and teaches you something about your audience.
Read the replies.
People will literally tell you what they’re struggling with.
Hello, future content ideas. 👋
6. 🤝 The Community Connector
POST:
What are you building online right now?
Tell me in ONE sentence because I want to know who’s in this little corner of Threads 👇
Why it works
This isn’t just about collecting replies.
It gives you a reason to talk to the people behind them.
The paid method goes much deeper into this relationship side of Threads — including engaging with regulars, recognising the same people who keep showing up and using genuine conversations as part of the path towards sales.
Don’t collect comments.
Have conversations.
7. 💸 The Soft Curiosity Post
POST:
I used to think posting more was the answer.
Turns out I was paying attention to the wrong part of Threads entirely.
Once I changed that, everything started making a LOT more sense. 👀
Why it works
Notice what this doesn’t do.
It doesn’t scream:
BUY MY THING!!! 🚨
It creates curiosity.
There’s a difference.
The Côte Chic Threads Method teaches a soft-sell approach built around opening curiosity rather than turning every sales-related Thread into an obvious advertisement.
And no — that doesn’t mean every post should become a mysterious sales pitch.
Please don’t. 😂
🧠 The Bigger Lesson
Look back at those seven posts.
They’re not seven slightly different versions of:
“Here’s a digital marketing tip…”
They each have a different reason for existing.
That’s the shift.
Before you post, stop asking only:
“What should I post today?”
Start asking:
“What do I want THIS post to do?”
Start a conversation?
Show some personality?
Learn something about your audience?
Build trust?
Create curiosity?
Eventually sell?
Once you know the job, writing the post gets a hell of a lot easier.
🌶️ Okay… But What Do I Post Tomorrow?
And the next day?
And the next bloody day? 😂
That’s where The Côte Chic Threads Method™ goes much further than these seven prompts.
It gives you a complete Threads system covering personality, engagement, posting structure, timing, soft selling, profile funnels, DMs, conversion and what to do when your account gets stuck.
And if the blank screen is your biggest problem, there’s a rather nice bonus:
The 30-day plan contains 268 written Threads posts.
So this blog gives you 7 posts to start conversations.
The Côte Chic Threads Method shows you how those conversations fit into a much bigger growth + sales strategy.
